Serb status in Croatia still shaky

NOVI SAD -- President of the Serbian National Party in Croatia, Milan Dukic said that 100 days into Prime Minister Sanader’s administration, there has been no improvement regarding the status of Serbs in Croatia.

"The current solutions of the Croatian government are neither just nor acceptable." said Dukic at a press conference in Novi Sad today.

According to an agreement passed by the Croatian Democratic Party, all Serbian homes should have been restored and all Serbs should have regained the status of residents in Croatia by April 30.

"The question of the status of Serbs in Croatia has not been taken care of appropriately, but rather, tended to with a lack of political desire to make effective changes." Dukic added.
