Albanians arrested over ambushes
BELGRADE -- Three ethnic Albanians have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in several robberies and ambushes in the Konculj Gorge in July, FoNet reports, according to sources close to the police.
A woman injured, together with four members of her family, in one of the attacks in south Serbia later died in a Nis hospital.
The three men arrested, all of whom were active members of the outlawed Liberation Army of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, have been handed over to the Vranje District Court where an investigation is under ways.
