Finnish Kosovo base evacuated over bomb scare
Finnish peacekeepers were briefly evacuated from their base in Kosovo over a bomb scare on Sunday, the Finnish Defence Forces said in a statement on Sunday.
The bomb threat turned out to be false.
The military added that Camp Christina had received a bomb threat by telephone, triggering the evacuation of about 100 troops.
The soldiers returned to the base after sniffer dogs found no trace of a bomb.
